The stats above are for complying development which we're trying to meet to assist the process. The plan is to get drawings finished and lodge soon for quick approval.
So today I spoke with council for the first time. It was all fairly pleasant and I'm hoping it's an indicator of what's to come. The only minor obstacle is the rear lane access. Required setback is a minimum of 3m which means an enormous loss of precious space to include a rear garage. We've talked over the options and have decided for the time being to replace the rear fence and gate to increase our privacy. We are also planning to leave the existing shed where it is but replace the roller door.
Neal went to the farmgate this evening on his way home so we have fresh eggs (still haven't got any chooks). So I baked my famous and much coveted rich chocolate cake as shown in the pic above. Yes I realise that my pics have taken a turn for the worse but until I find the camera charger we're all suffering. You get the idea.
